Trampoloons took me the best part of a year to develop. From learning Corona and Lua, to drawing the crappy graphics and the surprisingly time intensive task of creating sounds it was a lot of effort. Then about 20 people bought it.
A friend at work had a joke idea for an app. SharpieFace. you took a picture using your iphone, then drew glasses, moustaches and well, other things that people sharpie onto peoples faces. Then you post it to facebook. Corona is so fast to prototype apps that i put a version of sharpieface together in an evening. Even the facebook posting bit. Then i showed my kids. They played with it for a couple of hours. Somehow it never lost its appeal. That’s roughly 2 hours longer than they played trampoloons for..
I’M DOING IT WRONG.
